Sea of Fire is finally complete.
After almost four years of dreaming, overcoming challenges, and pouring my heart into every frame, I am pleased to announce that our 12-minute experimental dance music hybrid short film, Sea of Fire, is officially finished.
What started as a conceptual idea in 2022 has blossomed into a beautiful cross-cultural collaboration bridging Greece, Pakistan, India, Iran, and the USA. Blending live-action performance with surreal, painterly visual worlds, the film unfolds as a poetic journey of transformation, moving from the celestial to the elemental.
Integrating elements of classical Bharatanatyam and contemporary dance, it traces an inner passage shaped by atmosphere, rhythm, and an original composition featuring Urdu vocals inspired by the poetry of Hafez.
Independent filmmaking is never a solo journey. It takes a village of passionate people who believe in the vision even when it gets tough.
