The dance theatrical group – non profit organisation METAMORFOSIS was founded in 1997 premiered at the Municipal Theater of Piraeus, following a proposal by theatrical icon Alexis Solomos, the great actress Vera Zavitsianou and the Minister of Culture Melina Mercouri on the occasion of the international acclaim of the three arts (theater, dance, visual arts) through the aesthetic gaze of the artist.

Over the years, through various artistic collaborations, the acquaintance with the music composer, soloist of Sitar Iasonas Psarakis emerged, who introduced to the group the multiculturalism and the culture of the peoples of the East in the hitherto renaissance (Florentine-Venetian) group.

The artistic vision of the group is the presentation of a spiritual dialogue through art and the spiritual communication with the spectators.
