Friends of Hihiri Pipiri is the 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit Organization connected to HiHiRi PiPiRi Transcultural Creative Network: dedicated to Artists as Translators and Mediators. Through transcultural experiments, mediation and co-creating existences beyond the imagined, Hihiri has for the past 8 years resisted enclosure and bordering by supporting freedom of movement initiatives, providing grants for art projects and educational programs, restoring abandoned buildings into schools, libraries, clinics and community spaces, providing humanitarian relief during disasters and crisis and engaging creatively in marginalized hard-to-reach communities across five continents.
